If we allow Democrats and Republicans to conduct business as usual, America's national debt will grow until America fails. We cannot allow this to happen. This plank was deduced from a breakthrough in science. Like using the correct equation when doing math, applying a new understanding of human nature will resolve all of America's social problems. Sending Patriots to Congress will ensure politics, big business, political correctness and special interests do not come before America.
We will end illegal immigration,…
We will identify illegal immigration for what it is – a quiet invasion. As such, we will remedy and reverse the problem.
There is no need to build a wall along the American-Mexican border or have troops guarding it. Instead, we will make it unattractive for immigrants to come and reside in America illegally. To that end, the following policies shall be adopted:
Note: You should not need to be reminded that the details of the following policy measures will need to be hammered out in Congress. 535 men and women will put their heads together to fashion the most fair, practical and compassionate way to achieve the stated goals.
Illegal immigrants will have x number of days (such as 60 – to be determined by Congress) to return to their native county and get in line like the rest of the world.
Note: It is immoral to ask people who are law-abiding to follow the rules and yet reward those who don't. Patriots will not let this happen, and any benefit obtained to date by those who have broken the law will be reversed.
Unregistered immigrants in America after the registration period will become regarded as having committed a felony, making them and their immediate family members forever ineligible for citizenship.
Note: According to “Gravity Theory,” this policy measure is necessary to gain cooperation. The alternative is a wall, troops, and an ongoing game of cat-and-mouse that we cannot win.
No services but emergency medical care will be administered to illegal residents.
Anyone administering public services to illegal immigrants without appropriate documentation and authorization will be fined heavily and charged with aiding and abetting a criminal.
Emergency medical treatment will be billed to the country of the illegal resident and deducted with interest at the time a loan or grant is administered to the offending sponsoring nation.
Note: This policy measure will encourage cooperation of the offending sponsoring nation.
A guest-worker program is not needed. The way to come to America legally is called a “visa,” – an endorsement on a passport. The visa obtained for work will accommodate workers only, not their family members as well. Just as Americans work and live on oil rigs without their respective families, so too, guest workers in America should come alone.
Note: We should not have to educate foreign children and provide other social services to family members of guest workers.
Employers who hire illegal immigrants without appropriate documentation and authorization will be fined heavily and charged with aiding and abetting a criminal.
Employers that hire legal immigrants will be responsible for their healthcare and other social expenses that are presently being incurred by the public, including court costs in the event of criminal proceedings.
Note: When you add up the real costs of foreign labor, it is not so cheap. It will become cost effective to pay American citizens a bit more for work that is presently costing society a fortune in new schools, more teachers, wider roads, congestion, crowded prisons, growing deficits with interest, and so on.
The National Guard will assist in the return of illegal immigrants to their respective native country. We will bill sponsoring nations for the expenses incurred in returning their fugitive citizens.
To ensure the American culture is not forcibly changed by overwhelming numbers of one ethnicity, we will halt immigration of specific groups until equal quotas among all foreign groups are reestablished.
It is immoral and destructive to reward criminal behavior. As such, children born in America of parents that were not citizens will have their false and unfounded citizenship revoked.
Note: The 14th Amendment was not meant to include children born of illegal immigrants. Read the correspondence of the authors who originated the 14th Amendment to confirm their intentions. This reckless (subversive) willful misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment will be corrected at once.
…eradicate terrorists and supporters,…
Terrorism is defined as follows:
The calculated use of violence (or threat of violence, or intimidation, coercion or fear of reprisal) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political, religious or ideological in nature.
Supporting terrorists or acts of terrorism by way of financial support or other means.
Note: Supporters of terrorism are terrorists and will be treated accordingly.
Any group or regime guilty of acts of terrorism should be denounced by the nations of the world, and those responsible for committing such barbaric acts should be held responsible, tried in public court, and removed permanently from society if found guilty.
The damage done to the innocent is irreversible. It would be immoral for society to risk injury to other citizens by the same perpetrators. As such, society should not attempt to rehabilitate terrorists including predators and bullies. Those convicted of terrorism should lose their citizenship and be turned over to the military to serve the remainder of their life in a desert camp without amenities.
The Patriot Party® will advocate the United Nations should fulfill its moral duty. If it hesitates or vacillates, we will put pressure on the UN by way of public opinion, shaming it to respond at once. If public opinion fails to procure the proper action, we will recommend a vote be taken to discern which nations are civil and intend to endorse civil practices.
Terrorist acts and terrorist groups are not difficult to identify. Member nations of the UN who will not stand against inhumane acts cast upon innocent civilians should be expelled from the UN for a period of time (for example, 10 years) to be determined by Congress. Nations expelled can start their own group forum. If reorganization of the United Nations is necessary due to lack of cooperation, then such should occur.
…revoke the tax-free status of subversive organizations,…
We will revoke the tax-free status of groups that are working to weaken, divide or destroy America.
To be granted and retain their tax-free status, all organizations will have to state unequivocally in an addendum to their Charter the following provisions:
Declare allegiance to America. Specifically, they believe America's flag should fly above all others in perpetuity.
Declare allegiance to the U.S. Constitution. In America, it is “The Law.”
Profess they believe America is a one-class society in which all people are equal in value as human beings regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religious belief or sexual orientation.
Profess support for America's secular moral code in its entirety.
Profess support for free enterprise as opposed to socialism. America became great because anyone can accumulate wealth through sacrifice and hard work. Forcing those who make the sacrifice and work hard to support citizens who choose a short workweek and time off is more than immoral. It is demoralizing to those willing to sacrifice and work hard to get ahead.
Note: We must reverse the forced wealth-redistribution policies and dependency mentality that are turning America into a welfare state.
Profess support for America's republican form of government in which representatives represent their District or State as opposed to the people directly.
Note: Representatives doing what is best for their District or State is the only way for all the people to be represented equally. Otherwise, the citizen majority, the most influential or the noisy minority may be favored over other citizens.
Analysis: Our republican form of government is assured by Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution. The founders opted for a republican form of government over the two other possibilities – democracy and oligarchy.
In a democracy, after elections are over, the citizen majority makes the rules. In a republic, after elections are over, the citizen majority has no authority.
In an oligarchy, after elections are over, the rules are made by one to several individuals without guidance or limitation. In a republic, representatives are guided and limited by laws established by the people.
Note: In America, the “laws established by the people” are the U.S. Constitution. The U.S. Constitution transforms an oligarchy into a republic.
There is no oppression in a republic
The citizen majority in a democracy and the aristocrats in an oligarchy make the rules. Consequently, citizens are always oppressed and great injustices are certain. In a republic, because (1) representatives are guided and limited by law and (2) because representatives represent their District or State instead of the citizen majority, citizens in the minority are treated equally.
There are no minorities in a republic
Because the citizen majority has no power after elections are over, by definition, there are no minorities. Only in a republic are citizens in the minority not oppressed by those making the rules.
Note: To review, a republic has five major advantages over a democracy. (1) The decision makers are informed. (2) It's civil and unified. (3) It's efficient. (4) It's consistent. (5) Citizens in the minority are not oppressed.
America should have no obligation to help groups undermine and subvert America. In fact, such groups should be exposed and rebuked, not rewarded with tax-free status.
Note: What would we say if Microsoft funded teams of people to fill the airwaves with negative propaganda, devise ways to hurt its image, and produce products and services that reduced its market share?
Tax-free status is not a right. It is a privilege, granted by America to organizations (groups) deemed charitable. Charitable groups must help America or its citizens in some meaningful way. Qualifications for tax-free status must be set accordingly and applied stringently.
Note: The major religions and the largest groups should have to testify before Congress how they are “charitable” and not “subversive.”
…prevent non-citizens from voting and receiving public assistance,…
This policy measure requires no explanation. Those found guilty of facilitating voter fraud or robbing the public by giving away money that belongs to the public should be fined heavily, by found guilty of a felony, and lose their right to vote for life. Those who object to strict penalties for perpetrators are essentially admitting they believe non-citizens should be allowed to vote and receive public assistance.
Note: The money given to non-citizens is not ours to give. It is on a credit card that we expect our children and grandchildren to pay with interest.
… ensure firearms cannot be confiscated by government,…
The issue of fortifying the Second Amendment is addressed in Plank #1. The policy of ensuring firearms cannot be confiscated by government has to do with protecting the nation. The more citizens that own guns, the less likely government will run over citizens. We must never forget over 150 million people around the world were murdered by their respective government in the last century.
This number seems impossible, but it is real. Moreover, the offenders were not just communist regimes and dictatorships. Democracies were also responsible.
Note: Democracies are overrated because, in a democracy, citizens in the majority make the rules for everyone. Those in the minority have no say regarding what goes on. Consequently, if you live in a democracy and you are in the minority, you will be oppressed. You will be subjected to injustices, and there is nothing you can do about it but revolt.
Note: A lynch mob is an example of the consequences of democracy.
This is why America is special. Contrary to popular opinion, America was set up as a republic, not a democracy. America is a republic because, after elections are over, the citizen majority does not make the rules.
Note: In America, after elections are over, the citizen majority has no more power than the lone individual.
In a republic, representatives operate autonomously. They are not obligated to follow the direction of the majority or those most influential. Representatives make decisions according to what they believe is in the best interests of their District or State (all the people), balancing short and long term goals and needs.
Only a republic that operates as a republic can guarantee citizens will not be oppressed. Putting guns in the hands of citizens AND OUT OF REACH OF GOVERNMENT ensures America will continue to operate as a republic rather than be transformed into a dictatorship or democracy after forcibly disarming citizens.
Being armed is also the best way to prevent invasion by an aggressor nation. This was the original purpose of the Second Amendment.
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Suppose the dollar collapses, or Yellowstone (the largest caldera in the world) erupts, or a massive comet strikes Earth, or a 600 foot tidal wave wipes out the entire Eastern seaboard. Such a calamity will break the supply chains of food and essential goods resulting in social implosion. With America on its heels and everyone in survival mode, what would stop an invading army?
We forget China and Russia are essentially landlocked, with few warm-water ports. We forget China has a population problem and needs to secure resources such as water and energy for the next two hundred years. If America's citizens were disarmed, what would stop China's million-man army from invading the homeland?
According to surveys, there are 300 million guns in America in the hands of citizens. The Second Amendment is the best deterrence to invasion. Providing national security and preventing government from running over the people are the two reasons why guns should remain out of the reach of government today, tomorrow and forever.
…and become and remain energy independent.
Although the issues of energy need and production are controversial, and although many opinions exist, some things we know for sure:
Being dependent on foreign oil makes us vulnerable beyond the obvious trade deficit. For reasons of national security alone, we must work to break this bond of dependency and obligation.
Oil is a necessary ingredient in the manufacturing of plastics and other goods. As such, to burn oil for fuel and electricity is a waste of a finite resource that will be needed by future generations. We need to find alternative energy sources on behalf of our children and future generations. They will not be able to use sunlight or the wind to make plastics. They will need petroleum.
The oil we import from around the world is inexpensive, even at present prices. It costs more to purchase filtered water in bottles. As such, it is smart to use foreign oil today despite the extra cost while working hastily to generate low-cost environmentally friendly energy.
Because oil is relatively inexpensive today, and because it will be needed in manufacturing far into the future, we should not increase the extraction of domestic oil until the reserves around the world are depleted.
Note: It is not well known that over 50% of the oil we use today in America is obtained from our own soil. The foreign oil we import only supplements our needs.
We should save our domestic reserves not to protect the wildlife, but to preserve the oil for manufacturing in the future.
Note: Drilling for oil and gas will do little more than inconvenience temporarily the wildlife in Alaska and off our shores. However, using the argument of “nature preservation” as a cover story is a good thing. Doing so disguises the real motivation behind preserving our energy deposits for future use.
Converting solar energy into electricity is something we can do today. Every home should be equipped to supply its own energy needs, including powering at least one automobile. Every office building should support its primary energy needs through solar panels mounted on its roof and surfaces facing the sun.
Society operates 24 hours a day. Even though wind and solar power are becoming more cost effective, the storage of energy is and will continue to be expensive and problematic. Therefore, like it or not, we must develop an alternate source of power that will supply continuously uninterrupted on-demand energy (as opposed to stored energy) for 10 billion people at today's U.S. per capita consumption levels.
Barring the discovery of a way to extract free energy from the grid (called “0-point energy” or “over-unity machines”), Generation IV nuclear power plants seem to be the best alternative. Based on the “Traveling-Wave Reactor” (TWR) design, these new power plants will use low-grade naturally occurring uranium and, amazingly, the spent fuel from existing reactors that is being held in storage.
Better still, the TWR plants will be self-contained, never needing to be reloaded over their projected 60-year life-span. They will continually reuse their own waste, degrading the fuel over time. They will not only be safe and environmentally friendly, they will help clean up the mess made by the existing Light-Water Reactors (LWR) that exist today. These new reactors promise to be safe and economical, while providing the energy needs for humankind for the next million years.
Note: Bill Gates (the richest man in the world and the worlds most generous philanthropist) is endorsing this new technology. You can read more about it at TerraPower.com.
Certainly, solar conversion, geothermal power, and water and wind farms are preferred. However, these sources combined and optimized cannot possibly supply the energy needs of 10 billion people worldwide 24 hours a day in all kinds of weather. If we do not take advantage of the Generation IV nuclear option, we will have no choice but to burn fossil fuels.
Yet, burning fossil fuels is not acceptable for the following reasons:
There will eventually not be enough fossil fuels to meet demand. We must think 50, 100 and 200 years ahead. Our great grandchildren are counting on us to be responsible.
Fossil fuels are too precious to waste. We need them for the manufacturing of plastics and tires and other things.
Fossil fuels are far more dangerous than we realize.
Note: Burning fossil fuels is unhealthy for human beings and the environment. Millions of people suffer from heart conditions and lung disease every year because of them. Then there is the issue of global warming and its projected consequences.
We can expect oil to cost much more as supplies dwindle and demand increases.
Remaining dependent on foreign oil will eventually result in global conflict. How much do we want “world peace,” really? Global conflict will bring an abrupt end to environmentally-friendly policies and practices. How much do we care about clean air and water, really?
Note: What if Generation IV nuclear plants could be built with multiple and redundant safety systems that prevented environmental contamination? What if these power plants were the best way to recycle the nuclear waste that is being stored around America? What if global warming and world conflict were assured if we continue to burn coal and oil for the next 50 years?
